Janice Baulkmon is a Covington area artist that specializes in portraits. Intrigued by animals, and human anatomy, the challenge of capturing these characteristics offers an endless flow of inspiration for this artist. Working in a variety of mediums she finds comfort in those that allow the most expression of detail in her subjects. Janice was born and raised in New York, later moving to Georgia where she fostered her love for animals, and children. Currently a third grade teacher, in her spare time she can be found riding horses or enjoying the beauty of nature while capturing it on canvas. This artist loves to travel the world with her husband and three children, sharing creations of God.
