About Me

I have painted for as long as I could remember – it is a God given talent. The opportunity to share my gift with others and create a memory for them is always a joy for me. I have been given the privilege to utilize my artistry in various marketplaces, private homes, storefronts, ministries, and churches. I especially love to draw/paint landscapes, flowers, birds and childhood homes. As a new gallery artist for Southern Heartland Art Gallery, it is my goal to encourage and inspire others whether they are a new or longtime artist or simply a collector. I hope I can encourage people to take a moment and see art not just for the picture they may see but for the talent of the artist within.

In the Marketplace

I have over 25 years of computer experience as a professional graphic artist. I have created presentations for companies such as Dun & Bradstreet, Georgia Pacific, United HealthCare of Georgia, Krech Ojard & Associates, RLK Engineering, and SMDC Health Systems. Before leaving the full-time marketplace, I worked in Workforce Development, for a hospital in Minnesota, where I created countless publications and presentations; and coordinated large events. I have always found a way to use my creative talents when working at any role. I have also provided art classes to young children and senior citizens in various settings.

Private Homes/Ministries/Churches

I have been given opportunities to paint churches, storefronts and childhood homes. As an artist I love to attach memories to my paintings/drawings to bring back a moment in time and capture this on canvas.

• I am proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Corel Painter, PowerPoint, Publishing and Microsoft software.
